2007 representative success for two players who wore the royal blue in 2006

Sam Perrett and Lopini Paea both played with Newtown in 2006.

Sam gained New Zealand Test match representative honours this year against Great Britain and France and Lopini Paea had the honour of captaining his country Tonga in wins against the Junior Kangaroos and Fiji.

Sam Perrett and Shaun Kenny-Dowall also had the honour of playing for the New Zealand All Golds in their historic Centenary match against the Northern Union 13.
