Newtown Rugby League Football Club - 1908-2008
The Newtown Jets storm the ramparts of State Parliament House!

The NSW Government is staging an official tribute to the centenary year of Rugby League football in NSW, with special reference to the 1908 foundation clubs (naturally including Newtown).

An extensive display of historic Rugby League memorabilia, including images from Newtown's century of Rugby League, will be on display in the Fountain Court exhibition area of the NSW Parliament House building from Monday, 10th March and will be open to public viewing from 10.00am to 4.00pm weekdays.

Entrance to the Rugby League history exhibition will be from the main Macquarie Street gates.

This is yet another example of the fine tributes being paid to the Newtown RLFC in our club's centenary year and comes soon after the stirring speech about the Newtown Club and Henson Park by our local Member, Carmel Tebbutt.
