All 1908 NSWRL foundation clubs' supporters have been invited by the Tigers and Magpies to be part of this historic event.

  • Meet at Birchgrove Oval at Grove St, Balmain on Sunday April 20, 2008 at 10.30 am.
  • Wear a Newtown jersey or T-shirt to make a statement about your pride in your club.

You will be briefed on the event at Birchgrove Oval and transported to your starting point in the relay.

The Newtown participants will be the third leg of the relay.

At the completion of the relay leg, you will be transported back to either Birchgrove Oval or to the SCG to enjoy the Wests-Tigers v Souths NRL game.

Newtown participants should have completed their leg of the relay by approx 12.30pm.
