Joel Greig's feisty SG Ball Cup boys turned on one of their best displays of the season in disposing of Manly-Warringah by 36-10. The team played with confidence and flair and were well in control at halftime with a 20-4 lead.

In the Harold Matthews Shield curtain-raiser the Roosters Junior League team staged a thrilling fightback to go down narrowly to the Sea Eagles by 16-10.
