Thirty years ago the preeminent thinkers of Rugby League’s modern era - Warren Ryan and Phil Gould - used to enjoy a post-game or training beverage with the mercurial Kenny Wilson, where they philosophised about The Greatest Game of All.
The trio were dubbed the University of Rugby League by their colleagues and peers for the foresight with which they analysed the game and where it might be headed.
For one amazing night only, these masterminds of Rugby League strategic thinking and Newtown's charge to the 1981 Grand Final will be reunited for a fascinating evening of pertinent footballing discussion, reminiscing and musing over anything else that unfolds in between.
The evening will be hosted by our Master of Ceremonies, David Morrow [ABC Radio]
This will be an event NOT to be missed.
