When You’re A Jet, You’re A Jet All The Way …

Jets supporter walking from Australia’s southern most point to northern most point – some 6000 km’s – for Lifeline

Tim Shmigel – who’s been going to Henson Park since 2001 when he was eight – is walking from Wilson’s Prom to Cape York in support of Lifeline. Tim and his father Peter were extra’s in “The Final Winter”.

His walk and Facebook page is called Everyday Steps.

Here’s an article about it all in the SMH:

Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
