Changes to the NSWRL President’s Cup draw …

The NSWRL President’s Cup competition gets underway this weekend. The addition of two more clubs, the Thirroul Butchers and Western Suburbs (Illawarra), necessitated a reshaping of the competition draw.

The Glebe Dirty Reds (Newtown’s partnership club) home games now are:

Saturday, 25^th July, versus North Sydney at Henson Park at 3.00pm.

Sunday, 2^nd August, versus Wentworthville at Henson Park at 2.00pm. (This match will also be the Final of the 2020 NSWRL Challenge Cup, worth a tidy $15K to the winner!)

Sunday, 6^th September, versus Western Rams at Henson Park at 2.00pm.

Sunday, 13^th September, versus Maitland Pickers at Henson Park at 2.00pm.

There is now a two-week finals series with the venue for the Grand Final to be confirmed at a later date.

Former Newtown Jets, Sydney Roosters, Penrith, St George-Illawarra, St Helens and Hull Kingston Rovers forward Mose Masoe’s recovery progress continues to inspire.
