BEER FOOTY FOOD FESTIVAL 2024 – Saturday July 27 Henson Park
It’s often said that when you walk through the gates of Henson Park it’s like travelling back in time, so we’re taking you back to the legendary 81’ grand final between the Mighty Newtown Jets and Parramatta Eels. The faces may have changed but the passion is still there, and Jets fans never forget. Let’s just hope they don’t burn down the grandstand if they win like the Eels fans did after their victory in 81!
And if that’s not enough nostalgia, fan favourites the Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) legends will be back, taking the big hits to the next level. There are no mid-week trips to the judiciary for foul play amongst this lot. Expect plenty of high shots, low shots, late shots, dirty shots, and everything in between that you can’t do on the footy field. Good old wholesome family entertainment that will leave the most die-hard fans salivating for more!
More Than Just Footy:
In the era of big stadia, the Beer Footy & Food Festival is a step back in time to when going to the footy was a weekly ritual to look forward to, a day out for family and friends to sit on the hill, to throw the footy around at half time and to watch a bit of footy every now and again. The Beer Footy and Food Festival is about bringing together footy fans, beer enthusiasts and foodies for a shared experience. Each event boasts a curated selection of local craft breweries showcasing their finest brews and a range of Gourmet food stalls to tantalize your tastebuds…plus plenty of other surprises along the way.
GA tickets from $25+bf and Family tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids from $60
Mark your calendars and get ready to experience the Beer Footy & Food Festival like never before!

Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
