Complete details from Newtown’s Canterbury Cup NSW premiership victory at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday, 29th September 2019

Newtown 20:

Ronaldo Mulitalo, Scott Sorensen, Will Kennedy tries;

Braydon Trindall 3 conversions and 1 penalty goal


Wentworthville 15:

Josh Hoffman, George Jennings tries;

Rhys Davies 2 conversions, 1 penalty goal;

Jaeman Salmon 1 field goal.

Half-Time: Wentworthville led 14-12.

The score after 80 minutes of regulation time was 14-all.

Extra time was played on the basis of two five-minute segments, followed by Golden Point if necessary after the ten minutes of extra time.

Newtown’s winning try (scored by fullback Will Kennedy) was scored in the 7th minute of extra time.
