Friday evening’s match at Panthers Stadium is of critical importance to the Jets

The Jets travel to the foot of the Blue Mountains tomorrow for a rare Friday evening appointment with the Penrith Panthers. Newtown’s finals hopes took a heavy blow with last Saturday’s loss to the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles, and the outcome of this 21^st round Canterbury Cup fixture against the Panthers now takes on the status of being of vital concern.
