Jets Look Forward to Returning to Their Home Base
The Newtown Jets make a welcome return to their home ground, Henson Park, this Saturday, 22nd May. Newtown’s last home game was just on a month ago against Mounties.
The Jets, currently in 8th position on the NSWRL Knock-On Effect (KOE) NSW Cup competition table, take on the 10th placed St George-Illawarra Dragons.
This is a match of great importance to both teams as they battle to remain in touch with the competition’s top five.
The Newtown team is strengthened for this Saturday by the renewed selection availability of several Cronulla Sharks NRL squad members.
Saturday’s KOE NSW Cup match will be preceded by a Ron Massey Cup fixture between the Glebe Dirty Reds and Mounties.
