FINALS WEEK 2
SUNDAY 15th SEPTEMBER
5:00pm
Leichhardt Oval, Lilyfield
Jets need to be on guard against the boys from across the Ditch
Both the Newtown Jets and New Zealand Warriors clubs are engaged in a fierce struggle for a place in the top eight of the Canterbury Cup NSW competition.
The Jets might be aiming to make it four wins in a row on Saturday, but they would be ill-advised to take the Warriors (showcasing at least ten players with NRL experience) too lightly.
Please note that this match kicks off at 1.00pm.

Jamie Soward previews this Saturday’s Jets-Warriors match:
“The Warriors did what they were supposed to do, Blacktown were never going to go over there and upset them, so they were professional without being great. (Chanel) Harris-Tavita and (Adam) Keighran are still learning to play alongside each other. The Jets great win, they’ve really turned the corner with in terms of their effort and their completion rate. The Jets are now ninth and a couple of weeks ago we thought they weren’t going to win a game so it’s been a good month for them. Jets by 6.”
