Heartfelt thanks also to all our loyal members and sponsors that have stuck with us for 2020 regardless of the season being cancelled to help the club through this tumultuous time – YOU ARE 8972.

There is good news on Mose Masoe who features in truly spectacular fashion in this Saturday’s retro match against the North Sydney Bears.
Mose was badly injured playing for Hull Kingston Rovers in a UK Super League match, and he has begun to make significant progress in his recovery process. This link will give you the latest news on Mose’s situation:

Naturally Mose is in the thoughts and prayers of everyone at the Newtown RLFC.

Well done to big Wes Lolo who has been helping out at the Addison Road Food Pantry, the low cost, food rescue grocery shop located in Addison Road. Fruit, vegetables, bread and other quality food and household products are rescued from being thrown into landfill and the food packs are offered to the community at affordable rates. Wes is a great crowd favourite at Henson Park and his charitable work proves what a big heart he really has.

In this time of supreme challenge to the continued existence of the Newtown Jets, in addition to taking out a Keep The Jets Flying fund-raising membership membership package, be sure to consider buying some top class Newtown Jets clothing, merchandise and publications.
There is a wide range available online on:
www.newtownjetsclothing.com.au
You can purchase online or by phone by calling 9052 6980, and also by calling in to the Newtown Jets office (during business hours) at 14 Rich Street, Marrickville.

The Newtown RLFC extends Easter greetings and good wishes to our members, supporters and friends everywhere in these perilous times.

The Newtown Jets say farewell and thank you to a superb player and popular club identity, Billy Magoulias

One of the prestige awards of the night is the Fred Daly Memorial Shield, which is awarded to the player considered to have rendered the most outstanding service to the Newtown RLFC on and off the field. This year's recipient is the Henson Park crowd favourite and powerhouse middle forward Brad "Big Red" Fearnley, flanked by the club President Barry Cotter (left) and the Australian Mutual Bank sponsorship executive and Development Manager Glen Warner (right). Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
