Our Men All Dressed in Blue are dusting off the frustration of Sunday’s hard fought loss to North Sydney as they prepare for their biggest challenge of the year when they meet a rejuvenated Canberra Raiders, loaded with NRL experience this Saturday at Leichhardt. It’s a vastly different team than the one the Jets defeated in the first week of the finals. But with challenge comes opportunity… an opportunity to take down a formidable opponent; an opportunity to qualify for a KOE NSW Cup Grand Final, and not just any grand final – the Grand Final that the NSWRL and Jets & Bears supporters have craved for decades!
It’s a two-horse race, so we call upon the Bluebag faithful to get along to Leichhardt this Saturday at 1pm in numbers and bring your voices to help get our boys home.
If you can’t get to Leichhardt, the game is being televised on NSWRL TV, so tune in and send your positive vibes.
Go the Jets!
Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
