It’s official, our Men All Dressed in Blue are playing finals footy again in 2025. Sydney Roosters’ loss to Newcastle last Sunday has ensured the Jets can finish no lower than fifth. Victory at Brookvale this Sunday would see Newtown remain in 4th spot.
Having won only one of our last five matches Sunday’s game is a chance to wrestle back some momentum heading into the finals. The Sea Eagles, fielding a strong side are coming off back-to-back wins and will be keen to finish their season on a high. As such, it would be great to see a good turnout of the Bluebags faithful at Brookvale on Sunday to cheer on our boys.
If you can’t make it to the game, it will be livestreamed on BarTV NSWRL so find a screen and Go the Jets!
Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
