Newtown Jets Virtual Team List v Mounties Wed 5th August, 2020

From out of the pages of rugby league’s history – the Glebe Dirty Reds players and staff celebrate their crushing 53-16 victory over Wentworthville in the NSWRL Challenge Cup Final played at Henson Park on Sunday. Photo: Supplied by the Glebe RLFC

Dirty Reds sweep in on the high tide of history

Newtown Jets centre Jackson Ferris is pictured in full flight as he raced away for the first of his two tries in last year’s NRL State Championship Final. Jackson made his NRL debut with the Cronulla Sharks against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp stadium last night. And appropriately enough, Palmerston North-born Jackson scored a slashing first-half try to mark his debut in the top level of rugby league. Photo: Mario Facchini, mafphotography.

The Dirty Reds are on the hunt for their first silverware in 93 years …
