It’s the fiercest rivalry in the KOE NSW Cup. Two proud foundation clubs doing battle for the Frank Hyde Shield which is on the line this Sunday when our Men All Dressed in Blue take on the table topping North Sydney Bears at Bear Park. Norths won the first leg at Henson Park 16-12 so Jets need to win by four or more to retain the shield.
It’s always a great occasion when these clubs meet so we’re calling on all Bluebags to get along to North Sydney Oval on Sunday and cheer loudly for our mighty Jets.
If you cannot get to Henson Park this Saturday, the game is being televised on NSWRL TV.
Go the Jets!
Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
