It’s a Grand Final for the ages – 81 years in the making… a dream come true. We got the job done in 1943, now is the time to do it all over again. This is your call to arms Bluebags! To beat the Bears, we have to match them on and off the field. Our Men All Dressed in Blue will do their best to take care of the former, it’s up to you, our faithful members & supporters to do the latter. Come to CommBank Stadium this Sunday and bring your voice. You could be the difference between victory and defeat!

Here’s how the two teams looked back on the 4th September 1943 when Newtown defeated North Sydney by 34-7 in the 1943 NSWRL First Grade Grand Final. The two clubs meet again on Sunday in a Grand Final, this time at CommBank Stadium – and a big, roaring crowd of Newtown Jets supporters will ensure we get the same result as that famous day at the Sydney Cricket Ground 81 years ago!

GRAND FINAL TICKETS: $10 Adult, $5 Kids/Concession and $25 Family (4 adults & 4 kids). Get yours NOW at Ticketek Online or on game day at Gate B (Card Only, no Cash). Be sure to select the Jets Supporter Zone. Bluebags will be located in Bays 116 – 119.

Many thanks to our good friends at Busfleet Australia for providing buses for our supporters to get to & from the game. They will be departing Petersham RSL from 1.15pm and leaving Parramatta after the game at 5.30pm and go back to Petersham RSL for a team reception.

Places on the buses are FREE but bookings are essential!

To reserve your spot, contact Olga on 0412 712 612 by 12pm this Thursday (26th September).

Come early to see off our players at 12pm.

If you can’t make it to CommBank Stadium, the game is being televised live on Channel 9Now & NSWRLTV so tune in and send your positive vibes to the mighty Bluebags.

The Jets invite members, supporters and friends to Petersham RSL from 6.30pm on Sunday night to celebrate what’s been another successful season with players and coaching staff. Petersham RSL is located at 301 Trafalgar Street, Petersham (across from the station).

Finally, all the very best to our Pathway partners, the mighty Cronulla Sharks in their NRL and NRLW finals and Jersey Flegg Grand Final. To have all four teams competing at this time of the season is a massive achievement and testament to the strength of Cronulla’s junior nursery, football programs and our relationship.

#UpUp and Go the Jets!
