The Jets return to their spiritual home this Saturday after four weeks on the road, for the biggest game at Henson Park so far this season. Our equal ladder leading Men All Dressed in Blue are off to a flyer in 2025 but face one of their toughest tests of the year to date against third placed Parramatta Eels who boast the likes of Bryce Cartwright, Ryan Matterson & Ronald Volkman in their line-up. It shapes as a mouth-watering matchup between two quality teams and a game not to be missed.

It’s JETS Retro Round this Saturday and we want to see as many different retro Rugby League jerseys as possible. Get into the spirit, don your favourite retro jersey, especially if it’s of the Bluebags persuasion and get $5 off the price of admission.
Apart from JETS Retro Round, this Saturday is also federal election day and our good friends at Marrickville Public School are a polling site.
The Jets encourage everyone to vote at MPS on their way to the game at Henson Park.
As long as you live in NSW you can vote at MPS.
MPS has a coffee cart, cake sale, democracy sausage sizzle and more from voting opening until Jets kick off at 3pm.
Support those who support the Jets, vote early at Marrickville Public School then come and cheer loudly for the mighty Bluebags.
Weather permitting, there will be plenty of fun to be had on the DEICORP Family Hill with FREE jumping castles & face painting to keep the kids entertained. Ice Cream Joe’s Mr Whippy & Barista will be in attendance, whilst Philter’s Henson Park Draught, XPA and other tasty brews are available for all the Mums, Dads and over 18s along with Kraken & Cola and Kraken & Dry courtesy of Kraken, the exclusive dark spirits partner of the Newtown Jets in 2025.
Newtown Jets’ home game raffle is on again featuring a delicious Meat Tray from Dulwich Hill Gourmet Meats along with our famous Fruit & Veg box courtesy of Bobby and Chris Petersen, a case of Henson Park Draught care of Philter and some yummy Jets biscuits thanks to J Kreations. So, as Lynchy always says… ‘Dig deep & support the Jets!’
After the game, the Jets invite members, supporters and friends to the Golden Barley Hotel from 5.30pm to mingle with players and coaching staff and hopefully celebrate a victory. Golden Barley Hotel is located at 165 Edgeware Road, Marrickville.
We also encourage you to take advantage of a fantastic offer from Chargrill Charlie’s on your way there. Located at 186 Victoria Road, Marrickville, pick up a flyer at the game and you’ll receive 10% off your order. Better still, if the Jets win you’ll get 15% off… how good?! Many thanks to Chargrill Charlie’s, producers of amazing food & proud supporters of the Newtown Jets.
If you cannot get to Henson Park this Saturday, the game is being televised on NSWRL TV on BAR TV.
Please be advised that the redevelopment & upgrade of the King George V Memorial Grandstand is in full swing. As a result, there is no parking inside the ground for the general public.
Go the Jets!
Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
