Despite a late second half flourish, the Jets were brought back down to earth last Saturday by a well drilled Parramatta outfit.

This weekend, our Men All Dressed in Blue travel to Tamworth as part of NSWRL’s Magic Ground to tackle the red hot Dragons who are coming off a 60-22 hiding of Wests Magpies. It’s the first leg of the Tom Kirk Cup which Newtown won last season on for & against, which is an added incentive for the Dragons to “fire-up”.

It’s also third versus fourth with the winner to assume the former, so here’s to the Bluebags, who will be well supported by a contingent of their travelling faithful, correcting some errors of their ways last weekend, and getting back in the winner’s circle.

For those who not travelling to Tamworth, the game is being televised on NSWRL TV on BarTV Sports so find a screen and Go the Jets!
