Physical Disability Rugby League Jersey Launch and Game

back

The New South Wales Physical Disability Rugby League Association (NSWPDRLA) will be holding its next exhibition game on Saturday, 13 August, at Henson Park, Marrickville; the home ground of the Newtown Jets.

The day will be one of the NSWPDRLA's biggest events to date with an official jersey launch also being held. Media and dignitaries will be present on the day and photos will be taken of the players.

Following the jersey launch, a game between the Western Sydney Outlaws and Eastern Sydney Stingrays will be played as a curtain raiser to two NSW Cup matches to be staged on the day. The double-header will feature the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the Western Suburbs Magpies kicking off at 1:00pm and the Newtown Jets and the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles kicking off at 3:00pm.

The day's events will proceed at 10:30am with the match between the Outlaws and Stingrays following soon after.

If you would like to attend the day as a player or volunteer please email us at nswpdrl@yahoo.com.au or by calling George on 0402 773 045.

The NSWPDRLA are continually looking for those with a physical disability such as Cerebral Palsy, an upper limb amputation, effects of stroke or those who have suffered a traumatic brain injury who wish to play in a newly proposed competition which is planned to kick-off in 2012.

The NSWPDRLA are also looking for sponsors, coaches, managers, trainers, officials and volunteers who want to get involved.
