Welcome Day postponed

Due to the deluge over the weekend and with more rain expected later this week, organisers, in consultation with the Newtown Jets have decided to move Welcome Day to Saturday July 6. We do apologise for any inconvenience, but after a very wet start to May coupled with this recent wet spell, Henson’s legendary hill is full to bursting. All tickets will be valid for the new date.

Please note Newtown’s KOE NSW Cup game v Sydney Roosters will go ahead as scheduled at 3pm. Cronulla takes on the Roosters in Jersey Flegg from 1.15pm.

Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
