Calling all Jets fans to get along to Redfern Oval this Sunday
The Newtown Jets go into Round Three of the CanterburyCup NSW this Sunday at Redfern Oval, still looking to open their account inthis year’s competition. Near-neighbours South Sydneyare in third place and won’t be out to do the Jets any favours. The Rabbitohsare back in the NSWRL flagship competition under their own name for the firsttime since 2006, and it has been many years since Souths and the Jets have metat Redfern Oval (now the Metricon High Performance Centre) in a competitionmatch. Please note the earlier kick-off time of 1.10pm.

The Warriors are celebrating the 40thanniversary of their Group 6 first grade premiership victory in 1979, as wellas the 50th anniversary of their club’s foundation.
The function is being held on Saturday, 8thJune 2019 at the Campbelltown Catholic Club.
