Harrigan Cup Head Coach

The Newtown Jets & Sutherland Loftus Pirates are calling for Expressions of Interest for the role of Head Coach – Harrigan Cup for the upcoming season.

This is a key leadership position within our football program, helping shape player development, strengthen pathways with Cronulla Sharks, and uphold the proud culture of all of our clubs.

What we’re looking for:
• Experience coaching in senior or competitive environments
• Strong communication and leadership qualities
• A modern understanding of rugby league systems and preparation
• A passion for developing players and building a positive team culture
• Respect for the history, identity, and community spirit of the Newtown Jets, Sutherland Loftus Pirates & Cronulla Sharks

About the role:
You’ll lead our Harrigan Cup squad, run high‑quality training sessions, work closely with our senior coaching and performance staff, and help guide players through the Sharks’ pathways.
