There will be a NRL Trial Match between the Cronulla Sharks and the Canterbury Bulldogs at the same venue at 7.00pm.

Newtown Jets supporters will be interested to know that five members of Newtown’s pre-season squad played with the Cronulla Sharks in the NRL Trial Match played against Penrith at CommBank Stadium on Sunday, 20th February.

Those five players were:  Zac Woolford, Charbel Tasipale, Angus Ernst, Rhys Davies and Reubenn Rennie.
