Every game is critical for the Jets from now on

Oneof Newtown’s best performances in 2019 was the resounding 36-22 victory againstSt George-Illawarra in Round 11 back on the 26^th May at WIN Stadium,Wollongong. The Jets host the Dragons at Henson Park this Saturday (6^thJuly) and as we head into the final third of the Canterbury Cup NSWcompetition, every single game can be classed as being ultra-important forNewtown’s finals chances.

TheJets will be missing three players due to State of Origin selectioncommitments: Second-rower Teig Wilton has won selection in the NSW Under20s State of Origin team, and halfback Braydon Trindall and centre RonaldoMulitalo have both been included in the Queensland Under 20s State ofOrigin side. Everyone at the Jets extends congratulations to all three playerson gaining selection in these representative teams.
