BLUEBAGS AIM TO GO BACK-TO-BACK AT HOME THIS SATURDAY

The Newtown Jets return to Henson Park this Saturday chasing back-to-back home wins, fresh off a confidence-boosting victory over the Sea Eagles. Our Men All Dressed in Blue led 30–4 after 60 minutes before Manly crossed late to narrow the margin, but the damage was already done. The Jets produced some scintillating football, thrilling the Bluebags faithful and climbing back into 5th place on the ladder.

This weekend brings another stern examination as Newtown face the 7th-placed St George Illawarra Dragons in the opening leg of the Tom Kirk Cup. The Dragons — last season’s runners-up — are coming off a heavy loss to Canberra and will arrive at Henson with plenty to prove. It’s exactly the kind of litmus test the Jets need as they hunt consistency and continue their quest to retain the silverware in 2026.

With no NRL in Sydney on Saturday, all roads lead to Henson Park. So let’s go again, Jets supporters — bring the noise, lift the boys, and help get our team home.
