Newtown Jets head into Sunday’s very important Mother’s Day fixture against the Sea Eagles with some renewed confidence after a good outing against the Dragons at Henson Park last Saturday. Our Men All Dressed in Blue currently sit in 6th spot on the ladder one point out of the Top 5 with the Sea Eagles 10th. However, only point separates the two teams, hence the significance of Sunday’s game. The Jets will be looking to make amends for their Round 7 defeat at the hands of Blacktown, whilst the Sea Eagles, who are a quality outfit will be smarting from their twenty-point home defeat against Canberra last weekend.
If you can’t make it to Blacktown on Sunday to cheer on the Blues, the game is live on NSWRL TV.
Wishing all the Mum’s a wonderful day on Sunday…
Go the Jets!
Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
