Our season goes on the line this Saturday when we take on the Canberra Raiders at our annual Reunion Day and last home game at Henson Park for the year. Both teams currently sit one point outside the Top 5.

Whilst a horrific run of injuries has grounded the Jets in recent times, we still have a team capable of getting the job done this Saturday in front of what should be a big partisan home crowd.

Newtown will be revved up and super keen to repay the Bluebags faithful so be sure get along to Henson Park this Saturday and cheer loudly for our Men All Dressed in Blue.

Before hand, there are still tickets available for our NEWTOWN JETS 2023 PRESIDENT’S LUNCHEON – CELEBRATING THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF NEWTOWN’S 1973 NSWRL CLUB CHAMPIONS

The famous rugby league journalist and author Ian Heads, in noting that Newtown’s Club Championship win was one of the greatest achievements in the foundation club’s history, made the following remark:

“Newtown winning the NSWRL Club Championship was rather like Iceland topping the gold medal count at the Olympics.”
