Welcome Day update
ATTENTION !!
The Newtown Jets and MBC have made the decision to put the Welcome Day event on hiatus for 2024.
Unfortunately, the weather hasn’t been as welcoming as the event name suggests, and with plenty of home games coming up over the back end of the season, including the bumper Beer Footy and Food Festival, both the club and event organisers feel that its best to preserve the ground and give Welcome Day a year off.
All games will go ahead on the day as per usual, with the Jets taking on the Magpies for the Tommy Raudonikis Cup at 3pm.
If you would like a refund, please use the refund link provided to request a refund prior to 6th of July 2024 at 12:00 PM. Please click here to request a refund.
Any ticketholders who do not request a refund will have their tickets rolled over to be redeemed at the Beer Footy & Food Festival – Newtown on the 27th of July 2024 at Henson Park.

Newtown Jets respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the Land and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on and that the land area encompassing Henson Park traditionally belonged to the Gadigal people of the Eora nation.
