More information for Newtown Jets supporters regarding Sunday’s Canterbury Cup grand final

Due to logistical reasons, the Newtown RLFC is unable to have a merchandise stall at Bankwest Stadium on grand final day, Sunday, 29th September.

However, Newtown Jets merchandise is most certainly available this week from Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, at 14 Rich Street, Marrickville (the Newtown Jets administrative office).

Newtown Jets merchandise can also be purchased directly online through the club’s merchandise website: www.newtownjetsclothing.com.au

Merchandise orders can also be made by phone by calling 9052 6980.

The Newtown Jets merchandise stall will be open in King Street, Newtown (directly opposite the Dendy Cinema) this Saturday, 28th September, from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

In the event of inclement weather on Saturday, Jets merchandise will be available from the club’s office at 14 Rich Street, Marrickville from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Our friends at Busfleet Australia are putting on a FREE Coach to Bankwest Stadium for Sunday’s Canterbury Cup NSW Grand Final. The coach will depart Petersham RSL Club at 1.15pm. It will then leave Bankwest Stadium after the game at 5.30pm to go back to Petersham RSL, where there will be a reception for the team.

Places on the bus are FREE but BOOKINGS are essential. Get in quickly to avoid disappointment. To reserve your spot, contact Olga on 0412 712 612 by 12.00pm this Thursday.

Many thanks to Busfleet Australia for their generosity. https://busfleetaustralia.com.au/

Most Newtown Jets supporters would have seen the black and white version of this photo of the Newtown RLFC NSWRL first grade premiership-winning team of 1943, captained by the mighty Frank “Bumper” Farrell and coached by Arthur Folwell. This colourised version has been kindly supplied by a Newtown Jets supporter named Coll who has done a number of other interesting colourisations as well.
