Foundation clubs Newtown and North Sydney do battle for the Frank Hyde Shield this Saturday at Henson Park in what is always a fiercely contested match-up. Both teams sit atop of the KOE NSW Cup along with the Warriors & Bulldogs on 12 points.

Newtown are the current holders of the Frank Hyde Shield and will be keen to build upon an impressive performance against Canterbury last weekend.

The Men All Dressed in Blue need your support this Saturday as they look to go one-up and take a step closer to retaining the trophy again this season.

As usual, there will be plenty of fun to be had on the DEICORP Family Hill with FREE jumping castles, face painting & pass the ball to keep the kids entertained. Ice Cream Joe’s Mr Whippy & Barista will be in attendance, next to the Main Canteen whilst Philter’s Henson Park Draught, XPA and other tasty brews are available for all the Mums, Dads and over 18s along with Kraken’s Black Mojito.

Newtown Jets’ home game raffle features a delicious Meat Tray from Dulwich Hill Gourmet Meats along with our famous Fruit & Veg box courtesy of Bobby and Chris Petersen, a case of Henson Park Draught care of Philter and some yummy Jets cakes thanks to J Kreations. So as Lynchy always says… ‘Dig deep & support the Jets’.

After the game, the Jets invite members, supporters and friends to the Henson Park Hotel from 5.45pm to mingle with players and coaching staff and hopefully celebrate a win. Henson Park Hotel is located at 91 Illawarra Road, Marrickville.
