This Saturday June 8, Newtown’s traditional home ground of Henson Park will host Australian Rugby League’s first ever Pride and Diversity Day in support of the LGBTIQ community. The occasion furthers rugby league’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion of its players, employees, fans and communities by the Newtown Jets, our partners at Cronulla Sharks, the NSW Rugby League and the National Rugby League. Newtown players will wear rainbow socks in our CCNSW game against Wentworthville that kicks off at the traditional family friendly 3pm time slot.

There will be plenty of fun for the kids on the DEICORP Family Hill featuring jumping castles, face painting, pass the ball. Ice Cream Joe’s Mr Whippy & Barista will also be in attendance.

Young Henrys NEWTOWNER, Natural Lager & Cloudy Cider is available for all the Mums, Dads and over 18’s along with a selection of wines from Sparrow & Vine.

The footy is on again at Henson Park this Saturday so bring your friends and family, cheer on the men all dressed in blue, support pride & diversity in our community whilst enjoying one of the most unique sporting experiences Sydney has to offer.
