The Jets make ready for their second trial match
The Newtown Jets ISP NSW squad travels to the Southern Cross Group Stadium for their second trial match for 2018. The Jets meet Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles for the second weekend in a row, although both teams are substantially changed from last Sunday’s match at Wentworth Park.
Newtown’s trial game details are:
Date: 17th February 2018
Kick-Off: 5.05pm
Venue: Southern Cross Group Stadium (located at Captain Cook Drive, Woolooware)
Opponents: Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles (Manly-Warringah’s ISP NSW partnership club)
This match is the main curtain-raiser to the Cronulla Sharks v Manly-Warringah NRL trial match at 7.30pm.
Newtown’s team for tomorrow evening is:

There were 18 former Newtown Jets players named in the opening round of the 2018 European Super League competition. The first email entry sent to jets@newtownjets.com that names any ten of those eighteen players will win a Newtown Jets trucker cap.
